A draft guideline Infection Prevention and Control Guideline for NHS and non-NHS Community and Primary Care Settings has been developed by HPS in conjunction with an expert working group. The Guideline was produced on behalf of the Scottish Government Health Directorate as part of the Healthcare Associated Infection Action Plan 2008. The consultation period will end on 25 May 2009. The final guideline will be published on the HPS website in July 2009.
